Summer is at our doorsteps, and one day while I was sitting on my balcony, enjoying the afternoon, I’ve heard a lot of airconditioning machines in the neighbourhood. Also by talking to people I’ve found out that aircons are used pretty much the whole day (and sometimes during the night) to make the heat more bearable.

Do you know that by using that much your aircon, your electricity bill is getting way too much? And that not only the US but all over the world.

One thing I do is use cooling fans to keep the air circulating. This way I can turn the thermostat down and use the airconditioner less.

When I use the fan, it makes the cool air move and this allows my air conditioning to cycle off more often. The reason is because the air in my apartment is so much cooler. So you get the idea that it is cheaper to have the fans working than the airconditioningon all the time. So my tip is: turn on fan and save some money at the same time!
